25 September 2015. International cutting-edge research increasingly draws on behavioral science and experimental methods. The new Behavioral Lab in St.Gallen, which is open to all HSG researchers, is designed for that kind of research. Assisted by the lab team, researchers can conduct experiments to investigate how people behave in the real or virtual world.
New research technologies
HSG’s Behavioral Lab offers controlled conditions for trials, including two experiment rooms that are separated by a one-way mirror and are well suited for qualitative research methods. Technologies such as augmented-reality glasses and electroencephalography (EEG) also are available. In addition, the Behavioral Lab is equipped with 20 computer stations.
Participating in trials
Trial participants are compensated financially for their time. None of the trials includes medical procedures or physically demanding methods.
